About Abie
Hi-let me introduce myself- Abraham (Abie) Bresler. Was born in New York. Till my family immigrated to Israel was educated in an Orthodox Jewish ambiance . Although I don't practice today, have always had a great interest in religions. Guiding Theology students for various German Universities enhanced my insight through learning from their Professors. Today I can definitely say I'm specialized in comparative monotheistic religions. As a young person spent a lot of time traveling throughout this beautiful and fascinating country. After my military service training medics I started traveling. As a passionate traveler have visited many countries. I realize having fun is no less important than the unique spiritual and intellectual stimulation that this country gives visitors. Spent extensive time living and studying in Spain and Germany, acquiring fluency in the relevant languages and deep familiarity with the cultures. This led me to choose my passion as my profession. Academic education in Social Sciences and modern Mid-Eastern studies helped me deepen my understanding of this corner of the world. Many courses taken through the years helped me perfect my perception - be it studying landscaping at the Jerusalem botanical gardens guiding at Neot Kedumim- national Biblical ecological park- and specializing in guiding people with special needs. My deep connection with the land and region and cross cultural relationships have led me also to be active in groups as Ecopeace and Window to Mt Zion. My experience also includes helping Rick Steves with his recent film about Israel. In recent years have specialized in addition to large group tours in small boutique tours with my van, which is part of the family business which I share with my wife Etty who also guides in English, Spanish, French & Portuguese. We live in a community near Jerusalem called Tzur Hadassah.

About Etty
Dear travelers, I’d like to introduce my self - My name is Etty Bresler and I was born in Morocco to a Brazilian mother and a local father. I was very inspired by my mother’s stories from her childhood in the Amazons. I always had a craving for traveling. I grew up in a multi culture ambiance, speaking French, Spanish and Portuguese as mother tongues. When my family immigrated to Israel I discovered the Negev desert while living in Beer Sheva, and when the camels use to come up to my window I found out what the desert was all about.
I loved traveling throughout the country, and spent my summer vacations in Kibbutzim. This led me to work in Kibbutzim during my military service, and even to form a new kibbutz – Almog, near the Dead Sea. I also worked as dairy farmer in Kibbutz Ha’Horshim. After studying art & photography I added my passion for travel and introducing my beautiful country to others, and started studying for a tour guide license. I have also traveled and spent significant amounts of time in many countries, only to find out that there is no place like Israel.
Since 1991 I’ve specialized in small boutique tourist groups, in addition to large groups which I occasionally guide. I feel so happy that my job is my passion, and I wake up every day to work with a smile!
