Tour 1 - comprehensive city tour of Tel Aviv

We'll start our tour with Jaffa one of the most ancient port cities in the world. Full of stories from various cultures. Beginning with the Biblical story of the prophet Jonah, St Peter of the new Testament,  and Andromeda of ancient Greek Mythology. Great art galleries, and the "Flea market" add special flavor. Neve Tzedek-where Tel Aviv as a suburb of Jaffa  first began. Tuesdays and Fridays Carmel market and Nahalat Binyamin arts and crafts markets are well worthwhile   From there we'll continue to get to know  "White City" architecture(WHS), Museums as the Diaspora- history of  the Jewish Nation, Palmach Museum describing how the State of Israel was established-not a Museum as you usually understand the word! Fabulous and diverse markets. Independence Hall- where the Declaration of Independence took place. Sarona and Azrieli center- upscale shopping and dining with high-rise observatory and 19th century European architecture


Tour 2 - East and south of Tel Aviv

Visit the Weizmann Institute of Science and Ayalon Institute where we'll learn how the prestate community provided themselves with much needed arms. From there we'll continue along the
southern Israeli Mediterranean coastline to observe how people live along the borders towards Gaza seeing the new prosperous cities Ashdod and Ashkelon which were inhabited by the Philistines in biblical times
